WRITTEN BY A BRIDE TO HER MOM
Carrie Underwood's video for "Mama's Song" premiered today featuring none other than her mom Carole and husband Mike Fisher. This sweet, sweet song is about leaving the nest and finding the man of her dreams. Does a song dedicated to your mom on your wedding day get any better than this?
Mama, you taught me to do the right things
So now you have to let your baby fly
You've given me everything that I will need
To make it through this crazy thing called life
And I know you watched me grow up
And only want what's best for me
And I think I found the answer to your prayers
And he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good
He makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So don't you worry about me
Don't you worry about me
Mama there's no way you'll ever lose me
Giving me away is not goodbye
As you watch me walk down to my future
I hope tears of joy are in your eyes
'Cause he is good, so good
And he treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good
He makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So don't you worry about me
Don't you worry about me...
Mama, you taught me to do the right things
So now you have to let your baby fly
You've given me everything that I will need
To make it through this crazy thing called life
And I know you watched me grow up
And only want what's best for me
And I think I found the answer to your prayers
And he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good
He makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So don't you worry about me
Don't you worry about me
Mama there's no way you'll ever lose me
Giving me away is not goodbye
As you watch me walk down to my future
I hope tears of joy are in your eyes
'Cause he is good, so good
And he treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good
He makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So don't you worry about me
Don't you worry about me...
7 Reasons why is Diamond so special
If one were to elaborate on the reasons why diamonds are so special, it would fill pages, for these stones are one of the rarest and most beautiful gifts of nature. So to keep it simple we will only mention seven reasons why diamonds are so special to us and why we are so in love with their dazzling beauty.
One look at a diamond and you are sure to gasp at the sheer beauty of the stone. Diamonds are indeed one of the most beautiful stones that were ever mined and the stunning looks of this magnificent stone is the primary reason why diamonds are considered to be such special stones.
Diamonds are also very valuable stones and most of them cost a pretty amount of money. The price of a diamond depends upon the quality of the stone which is mainly measured by the three C’s namely Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat. The better these contributing factors the higher is the value of diamonds.
Diamonds are one of the hardest substances. Due to this quality diamonds are considered very durable stones and are therefore ideal for everyday wear. Diamond jewelry definitely stands the test of time and is very often passed on to generations as a prized family heirloom.
No matter what we say about gemstones and about any other form of jewelry, the truth is that diamond engagement rings supersede every other variety in terms of its rare and dazzling beauty. This is the reason behind the popularity of diamonds; they are indeed the most coveted of all gemstones.
There is a lot of lore and history associated with diamonds and these stunning stones bear a lot of significance. One thing that needs mention here is the hardness of diamonds which is also symbolic of the relationship between couples. Hence diamonds are the most obvious choice of engagement rings and wedding bands as they stand for durability and stability in a relationship.
Diamonds are indeed luxurious stones and are definitely associated with affluence. It is true that the rich and the famous hardly let go of an opportunity to flaunt their favorite diamonds at every red carpet event and social occasion and over time diamonds have come to be associated with top bracket celebrities.
Diamonds are forever so if there is someone in your life who is really very special and dear then there can be no better way of communicating your feelings than with a gift of diamond. These timeless stones are a perfect way to express love. More Information at Angara.com

The Queen Mother’s Vintage Inspired Dress
Some brides look to vintage dresses as an inspiration for their own dream dress.
An interesting person with a love of vintage inspiration was the Queen Mother. On her wedding day in 1923 she wore a dress with a typical general style of 1920’s brides (loose-waist, ankle-length), but the detailing was inspired by a medieval Italian dress.
Now the Queen Mother’s wedding dress can serve as inspiration for modern brides admiring vintage wear. Rumour has it that Queen Amidala’s Star Wars wedding dress was inspired by The Queen Mother’s dress.
And so the circle of inspiration continues!

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?
While menus haven't always been a staple on table tops at weddings, more and more couples are choosing to give their guests a "heads up" on what they'll be eating for dinner. The fun thing about menus is that not only do they serve a purpose, they can also be used to add colour/design to your table if you create them to match your wedding colours and theme.
